Whether you are on business trip, a romantic holiday, a family trip or simply want to experience outdoor life, aromatherapy essential oils come useful along the way. I am an avid user of both fragrance oils and essential oils and I have learned to keep them with me as I travel. As a matter of fact I have a few bottles of oil already packed in my overnight bag. Whenever I get to my destination I will just use them as necessary. The scented body oils will definitely come in handy if you have a business meeting or social event. You can even keep a bottle or two in your automobile to use to freshen up from time to time.
If you want to carry oils to help you alleviate stress lavender, peppermint, marjoram, and neroli are excellent essential oils to have. A little bit in a bath or heated in a burner will work wonders for you.
A little bit of marjoram and/or lavender oil each mixed with sweet almond or calendula oil will help you to relax and get a good nights rest. You can use these oils in a variety of ways, you can massage them on your body, inhale the fragrance and allow the oil to enter your bloodstream where it can be effective, or place a few drops in your bath for a soothing, relaxing effect.
For headaches or migraines, concoct 1 drop of peppermint & lavender oil each with 1 tsp of sweet almond oil and massage it on your forehead, temples, sides and base of your neck. This will help to alleviate the headache symptoms and give you relief.
Massage 1 drop of peppermint & lavender oil each with 1 tsp of sweet almond oil on your stomach to help you with indigestion. Or you can try a nice hot tea made with peppermint oil. This used to be one of my favorite drinks. A bit of lemon adds to the flavor of this drink also.
If you are suffering from nausea inhale the fragrance of lavender and/or peppermint to alleviate the symptoms.
Fragrance oils also are handy to keep on hand. They come in smaller containers than the actual perfume or cologne so you can keep them in your pocket or glove compartment. The beauty of this is that you can carry several different fragrances with you. You can use each one to create the mood for whatever activity that you are involved in. If you are attending a business meeting the fragrance won’t be the same as what you would wear out on a romantic dinner date.
A day sightseeing will require one type of fragrance while a quiet candlelit dinner with a special person will require something totally different.
These products in my overnight bag have come in handy for me over the years and I believe that they will prove to be productive for you also. you can't go wrong when you carry body oils and essential oils with you.
